I got an Airbnb a few years ago out in a mountain town. The place was cute, but the air conditioning broke, during the summer right before we got there. The host came over and just opened up the windows and doors, and also let mice in. So she wanted us to just deal with the heat, and catch the mice, and clean after. That might have been the last Airbnb I used.

Catch the mice? You can't be serious. She physically saw them come in, and blamed you for it?

No, she knew they got in with the doors open. She asked us to monitor the mouse traps and empty them during the stay, into the trash we also had to empty.
