This one hurt so much. I have difficulty separating voices from other noises so I need subtitles for a lot of videos. The community subtitles were so good. New subtitles are fucking trash.

i used to write community captions for youtube--i hadn't known they were going to remove the feature until it was already gone. iirc the justification for its removal was more professional vetting of captions or something, but whatever those plans were, they seem dead in the water. another casualty of the eternal slop engines
