My wife and I work for different companies, but both from home, we just setup our workspaces at opposite ends of the house. We'll take breaks together, like getting water from the kitchen, or walking around the block together, and it's like having a water cooler chat, but with your partner who you actually like! And it's easy for us to have lunch together, which was not something we could do when we worked in person (45min drive for each of us to meet somewhere in the middle wasn't going to cut it.)
It's pretty much the perfect setup for work.
