Advice for Sepration Anxiety or Just Anxiety in General?

I'm struggling with how to best help my Sassy cat. She's nine years old and I've had her for six of them.
She has always had a tendency to overgroom. Some of it is allergies but recently it seems like alot of it is separation anxiety or maybe just anxiety? Her overgrooming is so much worse recently. It seems whenever I leave the house for more than a few hours I need to put her in a shirt or else she starts overgrooming. She's currently had one bald spot, with another four healing. Some of it might be related to me being very stressed right now because of work too.
I don't know if there is anything else I can do to help her. I have feliaway plugged in by her favorite haunts. She has lots of toys and scratchers. I know alot of answers are going to say "get another cat" but she had been very aggressive towards cats she sees outside and I feel like adding another cat will just add more stress she doesn't need right now.
Does anyone have suggestions of what I can do to help her?

I had been on the fence about getting a second cat but felt bad about leaving my firstborn by himself so much since I work full time 😭 I’m happy to say it’s been the best two months for him since bringing his sister home :)
