My apologies if I am in the wrong sub. I just learned about the Lord of the Rings posters by Feri Irawan that have been released via Bottleneck Gallery. I managed to buy the new set (image 2) but would also like to get a foil version of the old set (image 1). Thought I would start here to see if anyone has some available or knows of a place to buy them before I hit eBay.
I want to find these, or similar prints like these. These are from the Red Women’s Workshop. These two were at the V&A East in London. I emailed the V&A, and they said they don’t have prints of them. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I’ve been working on a small series of Chicago transit-inspired posters, using the same city and rail network as the starting point for different visual themes.
There’s a kitten tangling the lines into yarn, basketball and hockey versions, a Halloween “Ghost Lines” design, and a scuba diver facing a very questionable cable-cutting decision.
The map/transit layout, alignment and final composition involved substantial manual work and repeated corrections. I used AI assistance for the illustrative artwork, so these are AI-assisted designs. They’re decorative interpretations rather than official maps or navigation guides.
I liked the idea of keeping Chicago recognizable while giving each version its own personality. The yarn version says “The Loop. Too Much Fun to Untangle”; the hockey version is “On Thin Ice. Still on Track.”
Disclosure: I’m the creator, and I sell these as digital downloads on Etsy. They’re available individually and in bundles. No physical prints or frames are shipped.
Originally designed this as a poster a couple weeks back. Ended up printing it as postcards and mounting it in a case so it could sit on a shelf. I was trying to find a different approach to the poster without showing the Creature directly. Got some inspo from a fan made Jaws poster I saw a white back, where the ocean subtly formed the shark. Wanted to show the design process as well as I know there is a lot of AI out there.
I just launched a Kickstarter for my first ever comic book The Vega Bond and one of our backer rewards is this poster. I just got my personal sample copy of it framed and am curious what people think of it!
