Right wing meritocracy at its finest.

This is what happens when you hire people based on how much they look like your daughter.

u/PhilDGlass California 8d ago

I mean she also had great maga qualifications; Brietbart, NewsMax, Fox, law degree from, um, China.

134

u/PM_Me_Your_Kinks369 8d ago

Ask her to speak Chinese. Not that it even matters given law degrees in other countries mean nothing to the US. But can she even speak Chinese or have a documented history of living and studying there??

309

u/doodle02 8d ago

whoah, calm down there. let’s have her prove she can speak english first.

42

u/fireandiceman 8d ago

I think she passed being able to speak English but it's kinda looking like they are going for expendable press secretaries now

48

u/CalmTheAngryVoice Washington 8d ago

There's no one in MAGAland who's not expendable.

2

u/Hardwired_lavamantis 8d ago

Just the cult leader. Pretty sure it falls apart when that day arrives.

1

u/CalmTheAngryVoice Washington 6d ago

Not a chance. These people crave an authoritarian leader and will create one if one doesn't exist. Of course, it's ironic because they'll complain about government overreach, but as we've all seen, "government overreach" only means "being forced to do things I don't like" to them.

3

u/Dr_DoesNothing 7d ago

Nah it's just the ones that look enough like Ivanka to get a rise out of him in the morning.

3

u/ManfromMonroe Pennsylvania 7d ago

Are we back to measuring in Scaramuchi’s yet?

2

u/Fast-Garbage-4781 7d ago

Wait... you call that sputtering nonsense she did, "english"?

2

u/Reasonable-Leg-2002 7d ago

I’d be surprised if she wasn’t already fired

1

u/kapeman_ 7d ago

Whoa is right

64

u/sodapopkevin 8d ago

Someone, I think it was on Substack, checked all 50 states plus DC and she hasn't passed the bar anywhere in the US.

63

u/HapticSloughton 8d ago

And just a reminder that the Trump Administration wants to strip law school oversight from the American Bar Association, since no MAGA lawyer can pass the bar in under five attempts.

6

u/Gentelman_Asshole 7d ago

"..And before we hire your law firm do you have any personnel that graduated from this list."

4

u/tacoetr 7d ago

Law?

Laws?

WTF are those?

4

u/caribou16 8d ago

She was told there would be no fact checking.

4

u/Flaxmoore Michigan 7d ago

Yep. Professional degrees are very limited. I’m a doc. Licensed in Michigan and Ohio. But if I’m ten feet into Indiana? I can’t practice. Even getting a perfect bar score in China doesn’t confer bar rights in the US.

4

u/thirdouting 7d ago

speak a lil Chinese for em, Katie

3

u/Honest_World_3561 7d ago

I would seriously doubt she could handle the complexities of Mandarin.

0

u/marketingguy420 8d ago

Her law degree is from America. She worked in China after getting it. I'm sure quite poorly.

0

u/glen_ko_ko 7d ago

Madarin, Cantonese, or???

68

u/Asleep-Sprinkles4616 8d ago

Her law degree is from Pepperdine. She mentioned China when asked in which state she passed the bar exam.

41

u/StoppableHulk 7d ago

Ok well thats a cookie company so clearly fake

45

u/Confident-Seesaw-707 7d ago

Pepperdine Farms remembers

3

u/8549176320 7d ago

Pepperdine Farms remberders

2

u/StoppableHulk 7d ago

RFK gonna take you to Pepperdine Farms, son.

1

u/Enteroids 7d ago

No, you are thinking of Pepperdine University. It should be Peppermint Farms.

31

u/kent_eh Canada 8d ago

I mean she also had great maga qualifications;

Blonde?

21

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths 8d ago

Blonde with no credentials, awful makeup, and back alley lip injections.

4

u/Fast-Garbage-4781 7d ago

Trying to force back alley abortions to be a thing again.

4

u/sk8tergater 7d ago

Bottle blonde

4

u/El_Fez Washington 8d ago

Underage

2

u/StoppableHulk 7d ago

Ok well thats a cookie company so clearly fake

3

u/interista4jz 8d ago

Quick. Someone pull a pic of trump's mom when she was young.

2

u/opopkl Foreign 8d ago

2

u/intent107135048 America 8d ago

TIL Ivanka isn’t her real name.

2

u/interista4jz 8d ago

I meant his actual mother because  I think she's the source code for his attraction

3

u/gsfgf Georgia 7d ago

This one looks more like a Melania costume from Spirit Halloween

1

u/xxxxNateDaGreat 7d ago

Idk man, Ivanka knows how to fake a smile. This lady looks like someone who has never even seen another person smile and was just told minutes before what smiling is based off a description from a blind man.

1

u/1ceByte28 7d ago

Thanks, I just snorted coffee out my nose at work, that fucking hurt.

Right Wing Mediocrity on full display as usual.

34

u/whichonespink04 8d ago

Overestimation of the century, except maybe every Trump estimation of his own abilities. There's nothing mediocre about anything GOP except maybe gifting ability. Otherwise, all execrable all the way down.

4

u/Allegorist 8d ago

Unfortunately though, it is in a way. The average American reads at or below like a 4th grade level or some bullshit. Something like 37% of the country thinks the earth is 6,000 years old, and somewhere around 2% are at least not sure that it is round. 34% of adults also do not understand fractions or percentages, and can't perform arithmetic involving multiple steps.

The bar is abysmally low. Mediocre is already miles below what it should be expected to be in a reasonable society.

3

u/LargeMobOfMurderers 8d ago

A mediocracy

2

u/IndieRus 8d ago

Who sucks the most!

2

u/666jio666 8d ago

If only they were just mediocre and not this blatantly stupid/ completely mentally inept

1

u/SirGranular 8d ago

Idiocrity

1

u/Hardwired_lavamantis 8d ago

Thank god they got rid of DEI!

1

u/OdoWanKenobi 7d ago

Mediocrity would be a staggering improvement.

31

u/TheKanten 8d ago

A meritocracy requires merit. This is the exact opposite.

37

u/DanTheMan_622 8d ago

I think that is their point

35

u/tdieckman California 8d ago

I've said this before. To the current GOP/MAGA, merit is measured almost solely on loyalty and not on skill at all. When you think of it that way, most of what they're doing makes a lot of sense

6

u/fcocyclone Iowa 8d ago

loyalty and having a body they find appealing.

2

u/Vallkyrie New Hampshire 8d ago

Everyone in that orbit, particularly since 2024, is looking to kickstart a podcast or similar type of career, or was pulled from it.

21

u/GardenStateKing 8d ago

That's the point, they think they earned this

2

u/PrimaryFriend7867 8d ago

epitome of kakistocracy

4

u/targetsinmegadeaths 8d ago

What are you talking about? To an 80 year old brain with poor eyesight and dementia, she looks exactly like his daughter.

4

u/dylanx5150 8d ago

Congrats on discovering sarcasm for the first time.

-3

u/TheKanten 8d ago

Congrats on discovering being a dick on the internet for the first time.

1

u/drdoom52 8d ago

That's actually the dirty truth about an actual meritocracy. There will always be the people who can't measure up, so if they can't get ahead on merit, they resort to cheating.

1

u/whogivesashirtdotca Canada 6d ago

She's very meretricious.

1

u/tekniklee 8d ago

Idiocracy? 🤔

3

u/Low_Chance 8d ago

DEI

1

u/T33CH33R 8d ago

Devious, Incompetent, Idiots

3

u/urgrandpasdog 7d ago

you may want to try again on the second word

2

u/HuttStuff_Here Wisconsin 7d ago

Do Republicans even know how embarrassing their leadership looks?

-1

u/0o0o0o0o0o0z 8d ago

Right wing and white meritocracy at its finest.
