They aren’t coming around, they are trying to set up the pivot away from Trump we will see them attempt in the next 2 years.

3 years from now, there won’t be hardly any self-declared “Trump Republicans” and Republicans will attack the media for ever suggesting Trump was popular with the GOP.

That’s what I thought when they attempted to pivot away from George W Bush. They succeeded….and then put in a stupider version of W.

We need to keep a collection of every time the GOP supported Trump, even through his worst decisions, so we can just whip those out any time someone like Rove or Cruz tries to say they "never supported him".

It doesn't seem to matter. We have the receipts for infinite hypocrisy on video and voice recordings, and they are played every day, but it doesn't matter to any of the people that it would matter to sway. It's full Idiocracy, and anyone they blindly follow just has to say "nuh uh" to objective fact and truth, and nothing gets better.

Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but I've been at this for far too long man, and for all the hope and change we felt like we were getting nearly 2 decades ago, it's only gotten progressively worse every year.

Have you ever spoken to a Republican? It's the year of our lord 2026 and you still think they listen to facts and evidence?

Nope, but we shouldn't be trying to convince them.  We should be convincing that 1/3rd of the country that couldn't be bothered to vote

The fact that the internet had receipts is why they are spending so much money on datacenters to control the internet.  Its the only way they can survive.

Has the Tea Party cult disappeared by now? I hope the MAGA/Trump Cult will fade into oblivion as well.

Seems it's the Republicans who favor cults.

It's the same movement. It will just get a new name.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump impeached with some GOP help shortly after January 6. That would set up Vance for 2.49 terms, then they have 2 years of relative calm under an administratively competent Vance regime with him running as the incumbent in ‘28.
