So, what shall we talk about?

My first game I bought as a kid was CnC:TibSun in the box. Something like 27yrs ago. 😭😭

Oh man red alert was so dope but Tiberian sun was WILD comparatively

[u/-brk0 → u/sgt-hug0-stiglitz]

Tiberian Sun was the first collector's edition game I bought. I wish I still had the gdi pewter figure.

I remember being stoked when I found a Command and Conquer Red Alart cd at a garage sale. Shit was like 4-5 years old and it was the first game my older sister and I bonded over. Very fond memories.

I remember downloading the OG C&C demo on dads computer with dialup. It felt like eternity waiting for a few mb demo to download. Good times.

[u/-brk0 → u/Nodrod]

I played the demo on a computer at Sears. It was amazing.

[u/dmsayer → u/Nodrod]

iirc, demo was ~200mbyte and entire game on disk was ~700mbyte

First game I bought for my Saturn (that I won). I played the living shit out of the game. I still have some of the audio files from the discs. They could be played like a regular CD in a CD player. You just had to skip the first track because it was the data for the game.

[u/-brk0 → u/Geawiel]

I ended up having to buy c&c for the saturn twice after the disk broke, lol. Those last missions were hard.

[u/keygreen15 → u/-brk0]

Same.

[u/snorkelvretervreter → u/-brk0]

I played the crap out of Dune II which is C&C's direct ancestor
