The ME4 reveal must’ve been a PR move or something because we never got anything past that. What a shame.

Stock prices, most likely. Investors start frothing at the mouth when they think you have a highly anticipated project in the works.

Meant it more in the sense that it was meant to drive up stocks or restore faith in the company while the project itself was nothing more than an idea with a trailer. Six years later and it still being in early development shows the game was never far along and they might’ve never planned on actually releasing it.
