News/Article The PS5 system itself is running on pc

Recently, we have seen massive developments in PS5 emulators (such as shadPS4 and Kyty), and how rapidly they have progressed in a short period.

​Now, developers have successfully booted the actual PS5 system software on PC.

​If this momentum continues in the future, it will eventually allow players to run PS5 exclusives directly on PC, marking the end of the era of console exclusivity.

Because they want you to buy it twice, just like everyone did with GTA V when it released a year later on PC.

A lot of people bought GTA V 3 times. PS3, PS4, and PC.

I had a shitty Xbox 360 that I jtagged and just pirated GTA V on it. I did end up buying the physical copy for PC like 2 years later. Then epic launcher gave it to everyone for free a couple years ago. I guess I've gotten GTA V for free more times than I've paid for it.

I bought it once like most people lol. Just on PS4, not gonna buy anything else considering GTAVI has no physical disc

I bought it for PS4—I lost the disc, bought it again, and a week later found the disc behind the furniture.

If a game is good then yes people might buy it for more than one system. I posses GTA5 on 360, PS3, PS4, PS5. Xbox One, Series X and PC (Legacy and Enhanced). Some of those are pirated versions and some are paid.

Could say the same about the non HD trilogy too, own those on Xbox, PS2, PC and the remasters on PS4/5, Series X and PC. Own discs for the xbox and PS2, the remasters are pirated.

Oh yeah GTA4 also.... I own it on 360, PS3 and PC.

Not all of the actually legit copies were bought at launch and/or at full price. A lot of them have been bought after release as 2nd hand games and in fact only the original Xbox and PS2 games were actually bought at launch. I owned pirate versions of 4 and 5 on 360 before it hit the shops and picked up genuine discs way later for cheap.
