I saw a ducky once Buick brake lights are too low

Not my pictures, but saw this car today. The brake lights are definitely not where you'd expect them and annoyingly low

They can be on the tailgate/hatch, but need an extra set of lights under the tailgate/hatch for when it is open. Audi has an SUV like, but not common at all.

Of note, the el Caminos also had tail lights on the back bumper so it isn’t the first time a car has the lights low down

The difference is, we knew to look for the lights there. There weren't apparent fixtures higher up where we expect to find them in SUVs and pickups.
