Bruh what do you mean corrosive sweat? That sounds terrifying

Something in your sweat can react with the materials of the glove. Like mine can make some plastics and rubber become greasy after use. I wash my hands constantly and a clean person.

Is that what’s happening?? My beauty sprayer always feels greasy after I wet my hands, but it’s fine when dry.

Yeah if my hands get sweaty or wet every thing feels greasy. Once everything is dry back to normal

That's pretty common, just dependent on the person in terms of severity. it's a large reason why the grips on game controllers erode down to the plastic over time

Your sweat has salt in it. Guess what is corrosive to most things?

Not salt....

When you mix salt with moisture and oxygen it becomes corrosive. That’s why it causes cars to rust when it’s used on icy roads. It’s also why it is used in cooking brines, it dissolves some of the proteins.

Yeah no shit dude salt corrodes metal. Salt is not generally corrosive to plastics or rubber which is the topic here. Do you see everyone's bumpers and tires melting off every winter from the salt?

Obviously we’re not talking about “usually”. We’re taking about some kind of potential manufacturing defect and theorizing what the problem could be. It’s not a serious topic man, you don’t have to get so heated.

It's a very dumb theory that doesn't make any sense and adds nothing to the conversation other than sparking dumb arguments like this for you to get all salty and butthurt over.
