I stand 6 ft away, and then some idiot invariably parks themselves between me and the carousel. Then my bag shows up and I have to “excuse me” my way around them. I may have hit one in past accidentally with my bag, not sure.

I walked into a man trying to come into the train the other day while I was exiting. He wasn't the only one trying to get on before waiting for the people exiting but he was the only one in my path. I don't understand people that do this for the elevator either.

I wouldn’t do it on purpose, but if you are not smart enough to keep your distance from me while I pull my bag off, I can’t help it.

The belt is loooong. Pick a spot down the line. There's always enough space for everybody to get their bag.

Though I will agree that only people actively getting a bag should be at the carousel. Onlookers should stand away.

i prefer being polite to others, but i don't have the patience if they're being impolite to everyone else. "you're blocking the belt dillweed, get lost" is my go-to.
