I hate everything about airports. The layout never seems to be clear, every one of them operates slightly differently, no one wants to be there, and their attitudes reflect this.

I didn't appreciate how well organized most other airports are until I went to Berlin.

Except Tegel. No one ever complains about Tegel.

Western airports. I can't put a finger on it but Asian international airports are a lot more chill and its designed as a proper destination instead of a stopover.

No one wanting to be there may be a big part of the reason I guess

This sounds like a you problem

Airports are designed to be common sense navigable for people who don’t even speak the language. I’ve taught my 9 year old to lead the family through the airport and he does it easily

You've possibly not travelled as much as I have. There are plenty of really shitty airports around the planet!

Fair enough. I’ve been to every major airport and tons of small regional ones in America, but admittedly not much international travel.

In America, the only airport I’ve found to be even a little confusing is Minneapolis because it’s almost like two airports in one. Otherwise you can navigate them all in your sleep
