Why would ANYONE think you're an asshole for this? I just assumed this is how it's done. It's how I do. Never thought twice about it.

It’s frustrating because it wouldn’t have to be done this way if people would just stand back and wait for their bag to come up instead of crowding around the carousel.

The scenario pictured in this post is something I bitch about every time I go to the airport. It’s just such stupid, thoughtless behavior, and I mean thoughtless very much in the, “this people clearly have not thought about how pointless and annoying it is to crowd the conveyor like that” way. Like, have some common sense!

Because they're intentionally hitting people with their bag on the way out & bulldozing people after a moment to get it. That's kind of a dick move too.

The bag isn't going to disappear if it goes around again.

Maybe I'm just too passive or something but I'm not getting into a physical altercation with anyone for my luggage.

Zero ability to regulate emotion. Just out here reacting to every perceived injustice no matter how small.

Yep. Bringing that level of energy as a response is unhinged.

Crowding around the carousel is an ahole move.

Two asshole doesn't make the other not an asshole

Yeah, but an asshole with their bag is better off than an asshole without it because the other asshole was blocking the belt for some asshole reason.

I'm polite and always say excuse me, but if assholes don't give way as my luggage approaches I will still go through them. Unlike their pointlessly asshole dilly-dallying right by the belt, I'm heading for a direct target.
