Why not? I am talking about 2000s not 2020s. We didn't have fully voiced, customizable female main characters in a big IP back then. Lara Croft, Samus, Bayonetta were rare examples amongst countless male MCs.

Regardless, statistics say mShep was chosen more, it's only fair that mShep exists in a Mass Effect live action series. Choosing fShep wouldn't be fair to them, and vice versa.

Theres a decent amount of games from back then that had fem mc option that just weren’t voiced. And not every game has customizable shit in their style. I feel like you’re talking about the 90’s or sum. My point is, yeah, we didn’t have a A LOT of female mcs, but mass effect wasn’t the first or anything and it was a thing that needed to happen anyways and we shouldn’t go around being like oh “we’re grateful” because that makes it sound so…dick ridey. Also just really focuses on complimenting them for it. When we don’t need to compliment them for it. We shouldn’t have to celebrate every nice thing we get. Like its some extra bonus and not a thing we deserve to have.

They edited their message btw
