You gotta be stupid to play table games where other players have an effect online. People cheat in multiplayer videogames with no financial incentive.

Made a tidy amount 15+ years ago using poker bots.

Before bots, you just had to use a female name. People would spend more time typing messages out than playing their hand.

Not only that but the house / casino can cheat when it writes the software code.

For example, online slot machines and online roulette

Not just with online capabilities. Like you said, that are just softwares.

But, the legit ones still use "random" algorithm with a very precise win algorithms. So, they still make the odd on their side.

I don't trust the digital in person ones. I know they're regulated, but I just assume they're even let fair then ones with actual moving parts

The ones with actual moving parts are also controlled by a computer. They aren't free spinning wheels these days

even back in the day, if it wasnt weighted in the houses favor they would not be running the slots

Idk about no financial incentive,

Account flipping is hella profitable especially in China where cheated accounts of online games are flipped for a couple hundred to a grand

I do it for living. It really isnt that bad if u avoid sites know for having bots. What also helps is knowing most of the online pros in real life

Everyone equating online poker to online slots or table game are crazy. I guess that’s why the games before Black Friday were so good. Wish I got to play

Same lol, id for sure be worth millions id i could, instead im a 2bb/100 slave 😆

•

u/Sdcienfuegos 9h ago

What stakes? If you’re actually good can I send you hands sometime? Best I got was 3.5bb/100 at 50nl over like 120k hands

•

u/mmmarek02 9h ago

NL1k the most then NL500

•

And now the 2bb/100 makes a lot of sense. I’ll get there one day 😂. Why don’t you play live and make probably way more? I’m just assuming you’d crush any public game

I played a bunch in macau, was in vegas for a month and a half also live poker in my city(Prague) is really good but live is so slow, u have to travel, make sure dealers arent making mistakes (they always do, i hate that) Also its a lot more depressing irl. There r bunch of other reasons for example, i have a terrible immune and when i was playing live i was sick half of a year as every1 around me is coughing nonstop (and in macau spitting on the ground etc lol)

Ya when the table is playing 15 hands an hour I’d just rather not play also. At least you have a legal online option where you live. I’m in Southern California and have to play with this bot farm on Bovada and South American pros playing anything higher than 10nl on ACR. The live games just down the street though are crazy good. I heard there is a 25/50 no cap public game that occasionally runs up the road also

Live 25/50 sounds amazing, i have only been in california on a roadtrip and didnt play there, overall cost of living there is insane. Vegas isnt that bad and its much easier to get around. As a euro living in a large citi with great public transportation or in tiny macau i dont even have a driving license so im not sure if the states except of vegas are for me. Vegas might have good games but the city is disgusting asf 😅
