An online poker bot farm where dozens of synced laptops collude at the same table against real players

The older I get the more I see that everything's some sort of scam. This is egregious though, like why would anyone gamble online against shit like this. Throw in AI for extra scam.

There is a refreshing honesty to it, crazy as that may seem to those who haven't been. It is all that you think it is, and it's not even trying to fool you about that fact.

As someone with zero interest in gambling and who never expected to like Vegas, I really do. It's an incredibly fascinating place. I like going and just immersing myself in it all. Vegas is not ashamed of who and what it is.

Yep.. I have a few friends who LOVE to gamble on slots for some reason, but they make bank as attorneys and are set financially so I guess I understand them tossing $5k into slots a night when they're in Vegas.

The nice thing about it is that they get a FUCKTON of points doing so and get comped weekends at nice hotels and they bring me along for the ride. Free drinks all night at any of the MGM hotels due to the comps, even when I'm not playing. Free tickets to all the different shows, which are freaking excellent.

Probably seen 4 different Cirque Du Soleil shows there over the last couple of years. Plus they have the pinball museum, the mobster museum, the sign museum and a fuckton of other things to do that are not gambling.

How often are you going there?

Just thinking for 5k / night there's a lot of different awesome stuff you and your friends could be doing. Why limit yourself to what Vegas has to offer. Cirque de soleil tickets would be a fraction of the daily budget.

I only go with them once or twice a year. They go more often.

They want to play slots, I get the benefit of the comps they get from their slot playing.

Sadly, comps are increasingly a thing of the past in Vegas. Whole place is going downhill.

The entire world is a casino in disguise

This is such a pathetic way to view the world. Go to the beach, go hiking, talk to your neighbors, hang out with your kids, learn a new skill, read a book, meet people. Not everything is a casino or a scam.

I do it as practice for actual in person poker. In person I'm playing for $500 and online I'm playing for $5 so I don't really care what I lose. I don't actually lose though, I am profitable on this exact site in the video. You have to play for some amount of money to simulate real play, if you play on a phone app or something with fake money everyone just goes all in every hand and does stupid stuff. Microstakes online plays at the skill level of like midstakes in person.

That would be like betting on world events when it is revealed that world leaders are also betting on world events.

You are at a disadvantage in that you are a player who is not able to influence the outcome, playing against a player who is able to change the outcome.

At the end of the day, capitalism is about exploitation.  Scams are on the fringe of legal and illegal exploitation.

I'd assume any way you can make money on the internet is absolutely a scam. someone has almost certainly exploited it.

The masses are stupid and about half the people in the world don't even have an inner monologue about anything.
