Apparently because I didn't confirm my age a while back Activision put my account for deletion.

Got new cod mw4 and couldn't log in to my account so made a new login. My googlemail email but as Gmail (all emails go to the same inbox).

Load of back and forth hut had to ask my parents to let me play the game... By using the googlemail (the closed account) as my parent and the Gmail as me... Both accounts I'm a 41 year old male.

I get emails come through asking me to confirm my son is old enough to play cod.

How is this system so backwards?

I literally played both early access modes prior to this and then a pop-up said”restart required by update” and then after that, I no longer owned my vault, edition operators, so I just got off because I thought my game was bugged and now I can no longer play

Game was fine until I upgraded to the latest Nvidia drivers. Hopefully it resolves itself before mp comes out but I was wondering whether you guys know sth.

So preface, older guy here. I am 35 with two kids, really loving this new CoD. My only gripe is not being able to find people to run it with. I tried putting together a group to find some close knit people and there really is not a lot of places to look to find like individuals.

Discord has no filters, you cannot really find others with precision. It is a lot of digging through a mile high of trash to find a single nugget of gold.

Hey my friend and me just bought a game together in sharing its download right now but when i login from his id(from where game is purchased) and console sharing is enabled cod menu shows me to upgrade it means game is downloading and will be good to go after it but when i login with my id at same console it shows me purchase does that mean even after download i wont be able to play early access campaign?

For me it's like browny (browny-) when I speak so annoying

Loved mw19, Cold War, and vanguard. Mw2 and 3 aswell as b07 were an extreme bust for me due to movement. I just wanna pick up a gun and shoot other soldiers. Never been big into campaign but everyone’s glazing it might try. I just got a ps5 is it worth the pickup?

Imma be real, this new cod is good, I enjoyed the mp beta, and loved the story. I only have two DMZ games, but I enjoyed them both.

My whole thing is no matter what cod does people will complain. “It’s da same game every year” “it’s not cod” bro it’s only so much they can do. It’s like nfs forza and madden, it’s only so much they can do to the game before it changed completely yall hated ghost, now yall live it, you hated bo3 now yall love it. Now im not defending cod I refused to play bo7 ts looked ass. But they deff did they big one with mw4. Sometimes the hate is understand but jeez sometimes ts is forced like it’s a trend to hate cod. Truth is every game that claimed it’ll be the next cod never succeeded. BF6 was good but it’s not the next cod.

If it’s too different then it’s not cod, if it’s not different then it’s the same, it’s like they can’t win w yall.

Due to MW4, I couldn't help but think back to the original CoD4 days. Are there any veterans here who remember spending countless hours on private dedicated servers? Promod, custom maps, server communities where you actually knew the regulars, and an incredibly active modding scene...

It got me wondering what direction would CoD have taken if Activision had continued supporting private dedicated servers and given the modding community the same freedom we had back then?

I can only imagine what nearly 20 years of community driven development could've produced.

What are your thoughts?

Which Call of Duty games should I play in order to understand the story and characters? I'd prefer to play only the essential games rather than the entire series.

Also, should I start with the original Modern Warfare trilogy or the rebooted Modern Warfare series?

Man, I just got the new COD, and I’ve been playing it in handheld mode. I gotta say, I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs, especially considering how far it’s come since the beta. Ten years ago, I never would’ve imagined being able to play a full-fledged Call of Duty game on a Nintendo console, let alone on the go.
