Forever Beta Feedback Phasing like this is really immersion breaking

I understand why they do it, but it feels like there has to be a more elegant way of handling it, or perhaps a better "overlap" period where someone only moves off your layer when they are no longer visible.

I've noticed this on boats/airships where sometimes you leave with 4 and then arrive with 40.

Yeah, like taking a boat somewhere, and then after loading in all your allies are replaced with enemies from nowhere, so anti-classic its crazy

That’s why I enjoy the tram, I can tell awkward jokes and everyone just has to sit there until it’s over

At least it's better than at some points, where they were on different phases and would sometimes just drop you into the water. That was fun.

I used to constantly ride the booty bay boat specifically to counter grief, one of my favorite world pvp activities would be totally ruined by this

sounds fun! Always hide inside the boat!

there will be endless tears and drama with the boats on pvp realms

I have plenty of memories of having to jump off and swim back in the day because the Horde was waiting at the docks to gank unsuspecting players.

Playing on the PvP realm and getting upset about being killed in PvP is insane behavior.

Yeah I was talking to this guy while waiting for the zeppelin. I typed a message just before the loading screen. After that my message was sent to total different players. Super bad.

lol same, I told a guy to follow me to thunderbluff since he was lost and he was gone by the time we got there. Was a fun moment of helping someone that ended up making me look dumb

I guess the best way would be to party up with them so you dont lose each other. Alternatively just give directions if in LFG or a full party already.

When you board the train on the station way out where nobody lives but by the final stop you have to fight not to get smushed

That’s realism baked in.

You found some friends along the way

I've walked into a place and seen people around vendors only for them to disappear the closer I got. It was freaky.

This also happens in hardcore. It was especially odd for me because everytime i was with someone on a boat after the loading screen he became a hunter with the same lvl. Was kinda creepy
