Twelve iconic movie villains are transported to Nazi Germany in January 1940. Their mission is to destabilize the Third Reich and inflict as much damage on its leadership, military, and war effort as possible.
The team:
- Michael Myers (Halloween)
- Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs)
- John Kramer / Jigsaw (Saw)
- Hans Landa (Inglourious Basterds)
- Anton Chigurh (No Country for Old Men)
- Hans Gruber (Die Hard)
- Bane (The Dark Knight Rises)
- The Joker (The Dark Knight)
- Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad)
- Colonel Walter Kurtz (Apocalypse Now)
- General Francis Hummel (The Rock)
- Alec Trevelyan / Agent 006 (GoldenEye)
Preparation and cooperation:
Before the mission, they spend 30 days together in a neutral dimension, where they can discuss strategy, share knowledge, and select equipment.
They receive no historical briefing. They only possess knowledge from their respective fictional universes and the memories of the patients they will replace.
There is no appointed leader. However, all twelve are magically compelled to cooperate and pursue their shared objective. They cannot deliberately betray, sabotage, or harm one another. They retain their personalities and can disagree, but even the Joker understands that cooperation gives him a better chance of success.
They may undertake suicide missions, but only when sacrificing themselves would reasonably be expected to cause more damage to the Third Reich than continuing to operate and survive.
Weapons and equipment:
Each villain can choose any modern, real-world weapons and equipment they can personally carry. They can consult one another, so someone unfamiliar with modern firearms can take advice from the team's military experts.
Pistols, rifles, and machine guns have infinite ammunition and never need reloading, just like in action movies. However, they remain mechanically realistic: they can jam, overheat, wear out, or break. Recoil, accuracy, and other physical limitations still apply.
Rocket launchers, grenades, C4, mines, and other explosives are allowed, but their ammunition or charges are limited to what each person can physically carry. They do not replenish.
No vehicles or fictional technology.
Equipment brought into 1940 magically disappears if its owner dies or an unauthorized person attempts to take or use it. Anything acquired locally behaves normally.
Physical limitations:
All characters retain their original movie bodies, personalities, intelligence, knowledge, and skills. They only inherit the memories and mental knowledge of the psychiatric patients they replace, including their ability to speak German.
Everyone begins the mission in the best health and physical condition possible for their character. Any existing illnesses, disabilities, or chronic medical conditions are cured. For example, John Kramer no longer has cancer. This does not grant supernatural healing or protection against future injuries.
Their physical abilities may reach the absolute peak of human potential, even in exceptionally unlikely combinations, but cannot violate real-world physics or biology.
For example, Bane can have the strength of an exceptionally powerful, steroid-enhanced strongman while remaining in perfect health. Harley Quinn can possess extraordinary coordination, flexibility, and acrobatic skills, but cannot perform physically impossible stunts.
Michael Myers can have an exceptionally high pain tolerance and continue fighting despite serious injuries, but damage to vital organs or other realistically fatal wounds will kill him.
Nobody has plot armor. Their abilities can be extraordinary, but their survival and success are never guaranteed.
Starting point:
In January 1940, the twelve villains materialize inside a truck transporting psychiatric patients from Eglfing-Haar to the Nazi euthanasia center at Grafeneck.
They replace twelve patients and inherit their memories and knowledge of German, but retain their own original movie bodies.
The Nazis have no warning. Their first challenge is escaping a transport destined for their execution.
Objective:
Their goal is to destabilize the Third Reich as much as possible, using whatever strategies they consider effective.
They may assassinate Nazi leaders, disrupt military operations, sabotage infrastructure, or attack the regime in other ways.
Killing Hitler is optional, not mandatory. There is no time limit.
How much damage could this team realistically inflict on Nazi Germany? Could they seriously destabilize the regime, or would the Gestapo, SS, and Wehrmacht eventually eliminate them?
