Hated Tropes Things meant to be progressive just end up being incredibly offensive

What If - In one of the comics Miles becomes Thor, and it's full of stereotypes about black people such as the Mjolnir having graffiti on it and the infamous "by Odin's fade"

Emilia Perez - Everything about the movie

Why are the frost giants all of a sudden wearing white hoods?

I'm not even black and this shit offends me.

Jesus Christ, did they run this by a single black person before printing it?

Definitely not

See this is why DEI is important. Because if a single black person was on the editorial (with actual power/authority) then this wouldn't have happened.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a black person onboard that disagreed and as a result, the artists and writers made it more offensive in retaliation.

No Black people, but they did run it by the same person who approved that Converse accidental KKK ad.

The what ad?

I think you need to go even broader. It appears they didn't run it past a single person who hadn't suffered a major head trauma in the previous three days
