Hated Tropes Things meant to be progressive just end up being incredibly offensive

What If - In one of the comics Miles becomes Thor, and it's full of stereotypes about black people such as the Mjolnir having graffiti on it and the infamous "by Odin's fade"

Emilia Perez - Everything about the movie

The, "-exagerrated swagger of a black teenager" line from the Gamespot review of Spider Man Miles Morales. The guy who wrote the review and spoke the line is black though, so I'm not sure if that makes it more or less cringe.

It wasn’t really seen as “offensive”, just very cringe and awkward.

It's one of those things that's only offensive to white people.
