Hey guys I figured I’d post this here for others. I did some research and couldn’t find anyone else doing this. I’ve wanted the heysechia suppressor for awhile but my rifles use the huxwrx and silencerco muzzle devices and I’m not interested in adding anymore rifles to my collection right now. It wa important to make sure I could utilize one of my current muzzle devices and it so happens I was able to get a qd adapter 2.0 from huxwrx but, because of the size of the muzzle device I needed a spacer as well so I could clear the blast baffle. I got a 1.375-24 bravo from Ecco machine and put it all together and I was able to use on the same rifle I use my flow suppressor on.

Looking for some recommendations on a full auto rated silencer for my 9mmMPA Defender. So many attachments it doesn’t even look like a defender anymore 😂

Any recommendations? Was thinking of a CAT MOB silencer but it seems a bit pricy and I want other opinions. Thank you everyone in advance.

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but new to suppressors and looking to get one under 1k or so (preferably under 700 each) for the following 2 gun groups:

9mm: SW FPC, Beretta 92 XI, CZ P10f

556/223: Armalite M15 556 Tactical

I’ve just gotten my first can and a friend asked why I hadn’t shot it yet to which I explained I don’t have a alignment rod yet but he said he had never heard of it and none of his friends have used one, he has never owned a suppressor and the friends he’s referring to aren’t people I would trust to install a suppressor properly. So is it needed?

I am new to supressor world so this is my very first 30 cal supressor. It was recommended to me by my local shop. Reviews seemed great so I got it. Went to shoot it to make sure my POA matched my POI. Shot a total of 6 rounds of 6.5 PRC on this supressor. Got everything dialed in and went hunting immediately afterwards. Saw a buck, shot at him, then noticed the recoil was way stouter than I expected. Turned out a huge chunk of the supressor was missing and I got a deep laceration on my forehead from the scope bite. Interesting thing is that the deer was hit exactly where i was aiming at...

Well today I found the missing piece about 100 yards away. No baffle strikes or anything abnormal. Deep scratch on the front of the supressor - probably from hitting an oak tree.

I sent it to RS for repair/warranty claim. Anyone else experienced anything like this??

I currently have a 270 Tikka with the factory 24 inch barrel that I use deer hunting. I am thinking of getting a suppressor and would like to know how much I can safely have the barrel cut down.

Thoughts on this can? I got it for my 300blk and 5.56 should I have just gotten dedicated cans? If so what are some good ones

Looking for some insight into possible solution to Keymo problem.

The keymo adapter is stuck in the can. I cannot get it out and really want to be be able to possibly change out adapter but If i cannot remove I am forced to RMA and talking to dead air tech today they dont appear to be eager to assist. I might add I love my sandman x, I have 2. One without issue and this one so I know how to remove a Keymo adapter.

I have tried the remove via instructions and use of included spanner wrench-No luck. The spanner wrench will not get a good grip of the keymo adapter but they do get a good grip of the can,

I have tried soaking the adapter end in hot water for extended period-no luck.

I have tried penetrating oil and heat-no luck

I have tried CLR soak- No luck

I have tried breakthrough bath for 24 hours - No Luck.

I have tried leverage with Strap wrench and gun vice- No luck,

I have tried muscle and sweat- No luck

My comstock recessed armory brake won’t screw all the way down bc of my adjustable gas block how do I fix this?

I got an EZ X1R, which I know has been phased out for the X2R and online it says retails for 899$, but I got the X1R for 650$. It’s brand new and the shop worked with me because I’m a frequent customer. This is my first suppressor and I’m putting it on a 14.5 carbine build. I’m just wondering if I made a good choice/got a good deal?

Having trouble deciding on what to suppress a Ruger American Ranch 300blk with. It wouldn’t be shot at night or under nods. What supressors do you have and would you keep it or go with something else?

I bought a SilencerCo Saker 5.56 suppressor back in 2017 and have been running it on my 11.5" SBR. Its a very high backpressure can. But it does what I need it to do. The actual "gas to the face" doesn't bother me (Mk2 upper and charging handle ftw) but excellerated parts wear is a concern, as is the fact that I want this thing to run both suppressed and unsuppressed and with a traditional high backpressure suppressor that means I have to tune it to run overgassed while suppressed to keep it reliable while unsuppressed.

Back when I bought this Saker, it didn't have much competition as a 5.56 suppressor. It was the SilencerCo Saker, Surefire RC2, or the AAC M42000. Wanted a 5.56 can, saw the Saker at a good price, bought it, and a year later took it home lol

So, sell it and get the Velos or what?

Had an opportunity to buy a 4473 Dead Air Sandman X for a good price so I jumped on it. Hadn't planned on it. This being able to walk out same day with a can might be bad for my wallet 🤣

Eight different factory loads in descending order by manufacturer listed muzzle velocity. Federal AE 147gr has been consistently subsonic at room temp despite the 16" barrel, but it still seems noticeably louder than the other subsonics here. The next four sound fairly similar (to my highly scientific ear), then the Norma and Hush 165gr are definitely quieter. Already stocked up on AE 147 for accuracy, but wanted to see what I was missing out on with the fancier quiet stuff.

Anyone know step by step how i can get a tax stamp for a suppressor I bought with a 4473. I talked with my locall FFL he said something about a selfsubmition basically transferring the Suppressor to myself. But I dont where to start in Eforms.

I have my trusty Varminter 3.0 from Dakota Silencer (now called a Bamish Suppressor and the company now called Silencer Central) that is now over 10 years and I have been using it on Everything.
Now I’m getting a Rimfire suppressor and I am guessing that a lighter weight can will mean that my zero point will shift.
Has anyone changed silencers and seen a shift? Just kind of curious.

So, in the wake of watching Rob from Silencer Analytics put the BOE Incolite 9M up against the current best 5.56 & 300 BLK suppressors, I thought I would give my 2 9mm/Do-all cans a shot against my CAT WB. I chose the short configuration for the Wolfman and that was probably a mistake. Also, in full disclosure I also own a HUX 5.56 Flow Ti but, you know, the whole mounting thing! And, it is not nearly as quiet as these but ZERO gas to the face.

My main observation is that it seems the 9mm cans take 3-4 rounds to get past "port pop" and settle. But once that happened, I was surprised how quiet they were. I expect the full size Wolfman would give the WB a run for its money but with more back pressure.

I want a suppressor that is interchangeable between a semi 556 and semi 308 I use for hunting. Primarily want a suppressor that allows for sound reduction enough to not wear earpro. Is that feasible when looking at the size of the cartridge and the velocity required to take down a deer? I thought subsonic would be the answer, but I don't want to unethically maim an animal. AI is saying that even with a suppressor though, I will still need earpro.

Thoughts or suggestions?
