I mean, yeah actually. They don’t want us to think that would work but if we zoom out big picture. It would require enough martyrs, admittedly I wouldn’t want to be one so I am part of the problem. They are killing us systematically, after enough billionaires have been bitten they would have to change for their own survival. It’s a grim outlook but I don’t think there is any more reliable of a solution.
They have to willingly change and support the society they are exploiting. The only way they willingly do so is if legislation is set up in a way that it forces them and we have officially lost that avenue since we sold congress to the billionaires. We “drained the swamp” and turned it into a billionaire paradise. The only other way I can see is if their survival is dependent on it.
I remember we did this many many many years ago with GE and the railroad and they didn't have to kill anybody, and the major companies got restructured into thousands of competitive businesses that led to one of the largest flourishes in our history (they also printed a loooooot of money though.... Like a lot..... Huge injections)
Nobody died, they took them to court because it was a real problem and it got fixed until we let it break again with mergers and consolidations.
It’s just tiring seeing people criticizing “the people” for “doing nothing”, then giving these fantasies of what they think “the people” should do, forgetting that A) they are part of “the people”, and B) “the people” don’t do these things for the exact same reason that the commenters aren’t doing it (they don’t want to go to prison or be killed)
And usually these commenters have a strong hint of criticism towards others for “not doing anything about it” while they do nothing themselves except trying to convince others on social media to do the dirty work
Shit is corny as hell. And I’m willing to bet most of them barely ever go outside and build their entire understanding of the real world through the internet
