Never have I seen a 12oz strip with two sides for less than 20, and then there's tip , tax and drink, easily making it $30+
6 u/JokesNShit 5d ago Yea you are right..people taking pictures in 2026 and quoting 1990s prices. 2 u/just_some_octopus 5d ago Yeah that menu item is always in the 20s As an avid steak eater, always gauged best bang for my buck eating at these places based off my hunger 1 u/Mono-enlaluna 5d ago I mean the point is that the fast food slop is $18 when you can just get a whole steak dinner for maybe $10-$15 more…. 1 u/broke_n_boosted 5d ago Where i live the 8oz is 19.99 and the 12 Oz is 22.79. Also where i live the MEDIUM combo meal from McDonald's is 13.89 before tax 1 u/puppypersonnn 5d ago There’s usually daily deals making meals $20 max with tax and tip 1 u/diablette 5d ago And people doing takeout without tip 1 u/Xperimentx90 5d ago $29 here, so like ~$38 after tax and tip 1 u/TrippyVision 5d ago You can just order takeout at Texas Roadhouse but that’s not even the issue. A 12oz Sirloin with 2 sides near me is $40, a double quarter-pounder meal is $15, the post is just plain wrong 1 u/AT-ST 5d ago Weird, for me it's $25 2 u/TrippyVision 5d ago It’s probably cause I live in CA… the 12oz sirloin alone (no sides) is $30 1 u/AT-ST 5d ago Yeah that makes sense then. 1 u/EmperorUmi 5d ago It’s $29.99 before tax near me. Where tf is bro living where it’s $19? Wild
