Thanks to everyone who helped me with any question I had on my journy!

I am a collector of niche and rare items and I am glad I can finally add this beauty to my rl collection.

Unfortunately, Sideswipe was never really my kind of game, but hey, what wouldn’t you do for a few pixels in a game?

When I was in lower ranks I originally randomly choose between a fake out vs hitting the ball but what I noticed was that I was winning much more with fake outs.
So now I eventually ended up faking out every time like this. Of course this game is an extreme example where the opponent was messing up a lot but I was just wondering if anyone else plays like this.

I recently started playing RL Sideswipe, and this is the highest rank I've reached so far.

I play with the default controls using just 2 fingers, and I don't know any fancy tricks or mechanics yet. I feel like that's why I'm struggling to rank up further.

I wanna get better at the game, so where should I start? What mechanics should I learn first, and are there any good tutorials or practice tips for beginners?

Also, is playing with 2 fingers and default controls fine, or should I change my controls?

Any tips from experienced players would be appreciated!

If you rank up from one rank to the other when the season ends you get the rank rewards for that rank. Sideswipe will not give you multiple titles for a specific rank only the highest rank you achieved (this situation does not apply to the extra gamemode).

If you rank down out of said rank when the season is over you will still receive the rewards and or titles for the achieved rank, but you will be demoted to Rank 1 of the rank you dropped down to.

Reminder: To obtain the rewards for the refreshed season for example Season 31, you need to play a game in said rank and win it.

When a season is ending and you are Division 0 of the achieved rank, you will automatically be demoted to whatever rank is below said rank. The game does this to help with rank distribution.

(I am not 100% certain this last statement is true however because I, too sometimes stay in the rank I am in Division 0 of.)

Season rewards fluctuate over time being:

Avatar, Banner, Item, or Titles.

Whenever I tap on it it just says it’s not ready yet

last five hours of this season, hopefully the next is even better

also your aims/achievements can be literally anything - plm progression, ranks, etc.

for me the only “achievement” this season is almost getting diamond in 1s… but diamond in 2s is enough for me

as for the next season? sure hope it has a couple of good base items that i actually need, like the wildcat ears

After a 90 min maintenance session the game is back online But what they fixed in this maintenance??

Started playing when the game came out, took me years, but oh sweet relief 😮‍💨

🔧 Rocket League Sideswipe will undergo scheduled maintenance tonight, October 19 at 9pm PT (4am UTC on October 20).

Maintenance will last up to 90 minutes, and Rocket League Sideswipe will not be playable online during this time.

Sometimes I casually try to play casual doubles and many times I get hit with this

Like do you keep your screen recording on everytime

Bcz whenever I start recording my fps drops from 60 to 30 and that's bad

… if normal rotation happens.

another pair of these came around, grab them while you can if u missed the orange ones from a couple of months ago, because they aren’t available anywhere else rn

So many times RL sideswipe resets our resources back to defaults whenever we start a game and that's bad happened to me many times

Now how to fix this

To fix this try clearing ur cache and data if needed if it didn't fix the problem try deleting and reinstalling the game

Note: Take screenshots of ur quick chat layout and screen layout because they will reset to default when you'll re-install

Just a quick question here, I heard that you can get a title in Rocket League by reaching a certain level in the RP in RL Sideswipe, was wondering what level I need to get in order to get it. Also, how do people get banners from Sideswipe into Rocket League. Sorry if it's obvious stuff, I'm fairly new so any help is appreciated.
