So I'm new to reddit, created this account a few days ago and also posted my first post a week ago. I got 40 upvotes on the post and my karma is still one. I know the amount of upvotes isn't exactly the same as the amount of upvotes but I feel like I still should get at least a bit of karma from that post?

I'm using the app on Android.

Hi! New to reddit. I can’t get past any posts with my 10 karma points. What should I do?

On a computer

I’ve only join Reddit to ask a question in the AITJ red but genuinely I need to make a few posts, give me tips cuz genuinely Idk what to do

Confused on how to accumulate karma. Seems like my account is restricted until I get a certain amount. How much do it need?

Help me out

I have no clue why this keeps happening but my posts keep getting deleted as soon as I make them. A few days ago I was fine and able to post anywhere as I wanted but now I can’t?? I have decent karma to qualify for most communities and my account is like 6 years old… What do I do???

You know how like under people user there will be different things that relate to the subreddit? Like I’m in a piercing subreddit and I was able to set my flair and there were different options, but how do I do that in other ones?

Not exactly new to Reddit just to trying to post. I understand account age and karma being the issues however it seems like I’m seeing profiles with the same age and karma that are posting but mine is being removed.

hey yall, just wondering if interacting with nsfw content filters your account as nsfw? or does posting under those subreddits and interacting cause your account to be deemed nsfw ?

I apparently first made this account 4 yrs ago and set the user name to particular flower 65, but I really dislike this name now... how do I change it? Am I able to change it?

I'm very new at reddit. I don't even know most of the technical terms that are being used like subreddit's mods message.

How can I improve and become familiar with the usages?

Please forgive me if I made any mistakes while doing this post.

Whenever I try to read new sub, Unless it's one I joined and already set it to hot, it defaults to best. Is there a global setting to make it default or do I need an addon or something?

Hi there folks,

I appreciate the detailed rules, links to FAQs, and basics. I even did a word search for "pin" but had no luck. I may have missed it too.

These are profile specific questions. I have others. I'll search for those before I ask those.

How to Pin?

I've seen some profiles with a post and a pin symbol so it's on the top of their profile. Not sure how I do that. I did make my own post.

How to choose what posts of mine are visible?

There's some who have no posts or comments visible. There's some where the NSFW posts aren't visible, and there's some where only about 6 or so posts are visible on a 8 year old account.

How to choose what comments of mine are visible?

Same thing here. Not really important.

Can't view achievement details

I have some from a lucky viral-ish post I didn't plan for. Many of my achievements when I click on them it says something went wrong. Is it because my account is so new? One is over 1k upvotes in under a week or something like that.

Thanks!

EDIT: Using Desktop App opened options for pinning!

I’m trying to interact with people on different subreddits and answer questions, but I feel like no matter what I do my karma stays at 0. I have an older account and I tried making a second account for other purposes and I can’t do anything with it yet.

Im new to reddit and my profile was previously not visible to others, yk what would have happened. Yes, you r right! And all my old posts are being removed by the reddits filter.

For me to post i need to increase my CQS.

How can I do this ?

Thanks for your tips nd advice. 🙂

I am not new to Reddit but wanted to post on some r4r subreddits and made a new account in order to do so without getting doxxed but it seems like I can’t actually contribute or post!! Help?

I recently got 10 karmas here wondering if I can buy one of those rewards with it.

Mes publications sont toutes supprimées alors que je respecte les règles, je ne comprend pas, est-ce que j'ai raté quelque chose ?

Does karma influence the rate of reactions to your comments? I passed 1000 karma, and since reaching around 800, the engagement (upvotes and replies) on my comments has really increased. Is there a connection, or have I just unconsciously learned how to write comments that generate positive reactions?
