Was gonna wear my grey suit today but switched to this because my loafers felt too casual for the suit and tie.
Ralph Lauren Polo University herringbone sport coat
Polo RL navy striped OCBD
Lands End silk MIU tie
Polo RL navy pleated chinos
Allen Edmonds black loafers
LL bean black belt
Swatch charcoal suit watch

I love the look of this jacket. Tan coloured, fleece lining, zip pockets. I can’t find any from trusted sellers, just crap websites. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have an idea of the name of this style of coat, or similar products/brands? I can’t find anything like it, and not really sure how to describe it to get what I’m after when searching the internet, lol. Thanks in advance!
Edit: I now know that this is the “Robert” jacket by Coherence being sold by Michael Jondral, which runs about $2200. Curious if anyone has similar recommendations. It’s inspired by an M-41 jacket, but I am specifically after the lighter/less military green color of this one.

This seemed to play well in the tie sub…thought I would post here and see what the general consensus is.

A few recent fits I’ve enjoyed wearing and wanted to share and get thoughts on them!
I have a good idea of what my personal style is as I’ve experimented too much over the years lol. I’m drawn to roomy silhouettes, interesting fabrics and playful pieces with colour. I like mixing different cuts and proportions rather than sticking to one particular style - mostly just having fun with clothes and letting a bit of my personality come through.
Which fit’s your favourite? It’d be interesting to get some thoughts on these fits!

Hi everyone! Since many of you asked me to keep posting, here is my second outfit. Today I'm wearing grey-black baggy jeans and a plaid shirt-jacket.
Still using Google Translate to read your comments, but I promise no squirrels were harmed this time either! 🤖🍂 Let me know what you think about the proportions and the overall vibe!

Fit Feedback (Office Fit for today)

I need opinions on this. The event is a 12-6pm gathering of users the a software company. Most dress casual but I work for the host company so I need at least slacks and a coat.
There's a cocktail hour and then I'll bring clients to dinner in midtown after.
Do these colors work together, and is the plaid on the trousers working with the texture of the jacket?
I'm trying some new combos because this is a tour and I'm running out of ones coworkers haven't seen me in

Put together this rotation for a national undergraduate physics conference I attended this week (covering my poster presentation, the formal banquet, and the closing day).
Quick fit note: No two items in these photos came as a set, every single garment (coats, trousers, shirts, and ties) was picked up separately without trying them on in person first. Because these are straight off the rack, I’m fully aware they need a trip to the tailor to get dialed in, specifically shortening the coat and jacket sleeves a bit so they hit properly at the wrist.
Setting the upcoming sleeve alterations aside, I’d love some constructive critique on the styling itself:
How do the color palettes and contrasts read across the different days (especially pairing the camel overcoat with charcoal vs. burgundy trousers)?
Is there anything you would swap out regarding tie width, collar spread, or texture mixing for future events?
Always looking to refine my eye for putting separates together!

I’m trying to get in on the baggy jeans trend but cannot figure out what shoes I’m supposed to wear. Everything I currently have looks off. What should I shop for? Would also take suggestions for different tops/shirts ..

I’m a corporate lawyer who typically dresses very conservative when it comes to shoes (e.g., typically loafers or oxfords). But increasingly I need something that I can wear through the airport straight to a client meeting. I’d like them to be as “dressy” as possible, so no suede or distressed leather.
It seems like most places I’ve looked are low stock or out of Common Projects. Any other suggestions? I tend to wear mostly dark blue, so a nice dark brown would be preferred. Thanks for any thoughts or ideas.

Around 2018 I bought my last Timberland (Radford model) which I wore only several months in the last 8 years because I spent most winters in equatorial coutries. Even though I didn't wear them much, the area around ankle completely broke. Now I'm looking for a new shoe but I don't feel confident to go with Timberland. I also felt cold in them in the winter (between 0-5 °C) and I think they weren't completely waterproof. The model from the picture I really like (Britton road olive-brown.. I saw them in person and I love them) but I've seen some youtube videos saying how Timberland is using cheap materials.
What other brands would be a good alternatives in the price range of ~€200? I saw Panama Jack has similar style shoes, not sure about quality and warmth. Maybe I could go also with a different style.. it's important that it fits well with Jeans, Chinos... Ty!

I’m getting married next month. We’re in our 50s and it’s a second wedding for both of us. She’s wearing a white wedding dress. I’m wearing a navy suit and white shirt. Thoughts on these 3 ties?
1) bright floral
2) subdued floral
3) rich paisley

Hey all, been lurking here a bit and I'm not sure exactly the best way to approach my situation.
Basically, I have hit the gym real hard over the past year, and almost none of my clothes fit me anymore. Also, I got a 3/4 tattoo sleeve about 2-3 years ago. So I feel like the only wardrobe I have at the moment is a ton of workout clothes. Clothes I used to like don't fit me anymore, and with a larger tattoo I feel like my style has changed. I legit am down to just one pair of pants that fit me (some Lululemon ABC classic fit khaki).. and I basically jumped from usually being a size S to L after bulking up.
With all that change, how should I approach building up a new wardrobe that I like? I went through this sub's Q&A and couldn't even think of one piece of clothing I like to get started with, because I'm basically just down to workout clothes. Is lurking around subs like this best to keep getting ideas for what I'd like to build towards?
If this is answered elsewhere I'd appreciate being linked to that, otherwise I really am open to any advice.

Any recommendations on men's pants that are as comfortable as sweats or gym pants / joggers, but which look a tiny bit more polished? Not full on business casual, but something that would look great with nice heavyweight t-shirt or a stylish sweater. Ideally, they'd have an elastic/pull-on waist, be wrinkle proof (or easy to maintain) and available in a variety of colors.
I'm in the U.S. If they're in retail, even better, because it would be great to try them on in-person, but I'm totally open to strictly e-commerce brands, too. Open on price point.
In the past two years I've gone from 30% body fat to 17% (and hopefully lower) and I've really put off updating the wardrobe for too long. Right now, wanna focus on this ultra comfortable, versatile pant for casual, but polished occasions.

Hey all! So I am a first time vest owner. I’ve always owned jackets and debated as to whether I should get a vest for the winter or not. I used to think they were a waste of money but after seeing some cool outfits with them and learning that they keep your core warm on days that are frigidly cold I decided to get one. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money in case I didn’t wear it alot so I got an Amazon basics fleece vest in charcoal grey. I love fleece as I think they do a good job keeping me (I own a fleece jacket for chilly/mildly cold days and I love it).
So far, I am happy with the vest. I love the way it looks over flannels, quarter zips, sweaters, and long sleeve shirts I own. And it does keep my core warm on days where I don’t need a jacket. However, when I do zip it up, sometimes it does feel tight. Even if I don’t zip it up all the way, sometimes it feels a bit snug around my waist. It also tends to fold on the bottoms sometimes and when I sit down it bunches up a bit (but my fleece jacket does that too). It’s kit uncomfortable tight at all, just a little more snug than what I am used to with how I wear my clothes.
For background knowledge, I wear a large in clothes, but I usually like my clothes to feel less fitted on me and be more loose. This could be me just not used to fitted clothing as well as maybe wearing some thicker clothing items (Ex: quarter zips) under the vest which makes it feel more fitted. I don’t know if I’m overreacting, but I wanna know your opinions. Does this vest look like it fits or does it look too tight? I have 3 photos of me, one of it unzipped, one of it partially zipped, and one of it zipped all the way.
Please leave feedback! I wanna know if this is good or if I should buy a new one that fits me better.

Palm beach is now a second home type of situation as this is where my girlfriend is from, so I’ll need to know what is apart of “palm beach chic” for guys, for reference I’m from New England so pretty different culture and climate, and st barths id my spring break destination so what to wear there would be helpful too.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a coat like the one in the picture (AI-generated reference image). I'm particularly interested in the dark charcoal grey colour, the military-inspired design, and the wide lapels.
Ideally, I'd like to find an actual coat for sale that looks as close to this as possible, preferably made mostly of wool.
Does anyone know where I could find something like this, or what brands or search terms I should look into?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
