Player-Experience Improvements

Finally, right at the end of the season, you can also expect our latest wave of player-experience improvements with the launch of Update 52.

These improvements include:

• Increases to select home furnishing limits (always a much-requested feature!*)

•The ability to further customize your

•Companions’ head and faces

•The addition of area-of-effect pulls and taunts

•The introduction of a new minimap UI option

•...and more - phew!

I'm going to save up my gold bars to 40K and see then pick which ones I want

Tbh it's kind of sad how long it took them to do something like this but better late than never

what's y’alls tome rollover payout? don't get me wrong I'm happy with the 1.2mil but I sorta wish there was better things (like unlimited reagent boxes or something) to spend tome points on after you've unlocked all the collectables.

Ran a 3 misfortunes run, reach the Indrik and immediately bugging out - non stop teleporting. Great.

I leave the dungeon, re-enter before it resets, take the portal. Cool, works again.

Reach the next Whisp Hunt phase annnnnnnnnnnnnd what do you know. Bugged again.

How do you choose that dungeon as one of your 2 solo candidates and not fix the bug?

I KNOW YOU HAVE TO CROUCH.

It's a bug/well known thing that can affect the tank and often times, random people, that you are going to be thrown even during crouching.

Usually that wouldn't be a huge deal unless you are going for the achievement during Veteran as someone else can just start the Whisp, this obviously doesn't work when you are the ONLY PERSON in the fight.

The new solo dungeons on +3 remind me a lot of the solo arenas on vet or overland content on vestige. Requires knowledge of mechanics and a decent solo build, but very fun overall!

Looking forward to more solo dungeons getting added in the future!

Okay these items have been up for long enough. Every season I wait for them to update them but they just don’t do it. Yes, I see the little seasonal items that are new. I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about the list that has been up for months and months now. Give us new items.

The other day I saw someone requesting screenshots from the High Seas event and how full it was at the beach. Here is from exactly five minutes into the Witches Festival - not exactly a new event, but rather a good old classic.

I stood outside with a small group waiting for the doors to unlock. Got inside and saw how it slowly (or rather, quickly) filled up. It's good to be back in the dark, cold, smelly ruin of the witches.

Title. Been stuck here for over an hour. I can survive basically until I can't afford to spam runespite ward anymore. Those numbers are absolutely disgusting.

Im primarily a PvP player, its what i enjoy most about the game and the fact that im at the mercy of RNG to get a set i want for my build is annoying. ive opened 20 non curated chest at this point and have gotten soul cleavers bow atleast 10 of those times. I hardly have 1/4 of the set unlocked and ive gotten the same pieces over and over again. just allow us to trade the sets on market, or buy the pieces we want for an increased amount of fortunes. Id be ecstatic if i could just buy the set pieces i want for 20k fortunes a pop instead of what were doing now. Atleast then id have an end in sight.

Just a funny little moment. I have been playing SO long and don't really loot overworld chests. I was waiting for the delve boss to respawn to get the new event quest done and there was a chest in the delve. There was a guy standing there for like 10 seconds and I came and quickly opened it for him and genuinely forgot that this wasn't a dungeon and I just yoinked his loot. He then messaged me calling me an asshole. I felt so bad lol. He was also a guildmate since I have an addon that shows if someone is a guildmate. I offered to buy whatever he posts on the guild store.

I'm going through it for the first time, solo, to clear up the tome challenges before the next season. I know others have brought it up but it sucks. It's hard for all the wrong reasons. Platforming in this game is absolutely atrocious, which has never been a problem until they created a new system (Nowhere Vault) wholly dependent on it.

This reminds me of the worst DLC for a game I've ever played - Narco Road in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. New content based on the worst part of the game (in GR:W it was driving/flying)... why?

• The amount of times I've tried to run and jump off a ledge only to walk off to my death... countless.
• Acceleration/deceleration speed of the player character when you move the joystick makes no goddamn sense in this game and trying to control your run/jump speed may as well be a shot in the dark gamble.
• Having to jump onto tiny objects, or objects with obscure or awkward landing spots has you sliding off objects and falling to your death more often than making the jump.
• Unable to control your direction in the air - I get this is how real life works but it makes for awful platforming.
• Trying to hold forward/jump while up against something like a ledge prevents you from jumping up onto it. Often times, jumping straight up will get you the vertical distance needed but pressing forward doesn't give you enough forward momentum to climb the ledge. You have to back away from the edge slightly and run/jump up onto it, and even this takes a bunch of attempts sometimes. Why is it so hard to jump up onto/over a ledge that's right in front of me when I can clearly jump high enough to do so?

I can't tell if I'm playing ESO or Jump King at this point. The platforming is really my only complaint, but it's so bad that I never want to step foot in here again.

Edit: If I can say one positive thing about the Nowhere Vault, it's that the loot is pretty good if you go in fully stocked on keys. Not good enough to make the awful platforming worth suffering through though, IMO.

Since the opal masks, shoulders and weapons were introduced, I just didn’t understand the point of them. Yeah the weapon effects look cool but the actual textures on the items is personally ugly, it rips away all details of the item. It’s not something I really want to spend time to grind for, I don’t see many players running around with them either. It always felt like an unfinished feature and I hoped at least different shades of that opal sheen would be introduced but it’s just been the same for years. Am I missing something? Are these actually popular?
