It's crazy to me how people see indigenous people as an almost foreign entity....

This culture was there long before white Europeans settled there and forced people from their ancestral homes into reservations and demonised them as savages simply because they lived off the land and respected it.

Maybe one day the American government will collapse, and the native tribes will be able to take back the land that was stolen from them.

Oh so Europeans didn't have slaves or war? they didn't mutilate the living and dead using torture?

They just arrived in the new world as enlightened people who never did any of that stuff....nope....never happened, they just brought Christianity and saved everyone and everyone was happy.

Your comment implies that Europeans didn't do the exact same stuff native americans did, my argument was calling them savages was wrong then and is wrong now

You know there’s like thousands of tribes and used to be more?, would it be cool if I said every European is a fascist Nazi loving murderer??

I'm sorry, which Native war and disease wiped out 90% of the population?

While warfare certainly existed in the Americas, it was vastly different from European total war. Many Indigenous conflicts were fought for captives, prestige, resources, etc. Rarely did it ever involve the systematic, total eradication of an entire culture or population. Those wars didn't involve over 100 million people.

Aw, come back Mr. u/Selectivedeviant . Tell us more about how the colonists were TOTALLY justified in wiping out over 100 million people with disease and eradication

they were not savages, they had a writing system, massive farming and a larger city than london itself at the time population wise.

yes, the french killed thousands that weren't christians, within european history there were countless atrocities, with millions dead, you're right to point that out. The Vikings took sex slaves from the british and surrounding german /algo-saxon villages. You are right.

Then you also had wars that lasted 100 years in China..

Also they found like 500 skeletons in the desert once in Mexico.. lol.
