The thing that is different here: do you see the air blast ahead of it? In that first clip, look at the windows on the lower left of the building in the background. They blow out ahead of the wave.

I grew up in Yellowstone and there was an earthquake in 69 that tilted an entire valley a couple of degrees. The reservoir in that valley tipped up away from the dam, which caused the whole lake to run away and then crashed back all at once. Somehow the dam held despite this happening seven times. But the water that spilled over in the first wave was funneled down a narrow canyon (Madison) that was filled with fall campers. There is a story of one guy being blown off his feet while his wife caught a tree and was held sideways like a flag for a second. Iirc their camp was above the flood.

Down river from that the canyon wall collapsed and filled in the canyon creating a new lake (quake lake). There is one boulder that's the size of a house that witnesses watched slide (without rolling) all the way from the top of the canyon on one side about half way up the other. There are 16 people under that boulder (obviously they were hit and...)
