Mod Post Update to our Rules: Post Original Content

In light of all the recent bots and posts involving stolen or reposted photos, we feel it is necessary to officiate a rule that explicitly states that this subreddit allows original content only.

Many members have been quick to point out posts that have previously been posted on this subreddit or do not belong to OP altogether. I want to be clear that the mod team sincerely appreciates your efforts to keep this sub free of spam and keep stolen content at bay. I applaud anyone who has submitted a report as it really helps us and I hope you continue to be vigilant and report the posts that are questionable in the future.

As always, happy bottledigging and thank you for making this subreddit an absolute joy to be a part of! Cheers!!!

Hello everyone, hope all is well. Finally out of my search in Massachusetts, we found purp sticking out woooah. After searching my 2nd time i found a hoard of hoops (never happened to me like this before)- yes lol my neighbor misplaced my mini fork so i used a broken vacuums straight attachment hose and a pitchfork head I found in the ground last year and just duck taped it with a few zip ties, surprisingly the best tool I have when I carry a boat load of equipment out here. The bottle with the makeshift wick reeks like petrol oil (found it that way sticking right out of the ground). I think I found a lock off an old luggage suitcase with a broken key, Good enough for the nicknack harem. FINALLY amber Vaseline bottles WHOOA. I like to give a small prayer, BOMB dabs and a nice chill cigarette 5min start before the crusade commences.

Found this in Minneapolis. Has 'REG' & 'LIQUID' embossed on the bottom edges. Anyone know what the heck the story is with this thing?! I reverse image searched and all that came up was eBay bottles similar (not not the same exactly) for sale. Thank in advance for any help!

I took my handicap grandma bottle hunting recently. A favorite hobby of her that she hasn't been able to do for years due to health complications.

It was a treacherous journey but we both had a blast, scored much loot and made it home with no injury!

Her favorite bottle is the one with a phallic shape to it 🤣 she's been talking about it for weeks now.

My favorite might be the milk of magnesia bottle with bright blue contents.

Near Philadelphia PA

I don’t know about bottles but I like ephemera and took it home with me

It says piperazine effervescente ΧΡΩΠΕΙ (chropei, I believe that’s the last word)

Just showing off my find. :)
When it’s clean I’ll put some of the flowers and herbs in it. ❤️

Information Request Antique pharmacy potassium arsenite bottle

Post image

Looking for information about this bottle found at an antique shop - label reads liq pot arsen. The stopper is sealed / stuck, and the bottle contains clear colorless liquid.

Any insight on if the contents are likely original potassium arsenite or not?

I'm a poison bottle collector but would like to know before having anything excessively hazardous.

I'm obsessed with hunting for bottles in my local bay recently. I'm actually gonna give it a rest for a few weeks just to let the Sands move around a bit with the tides. Photos in comments.
