Oh, I remember playing a game online and one of the leaders, a very experienced guy, telling me what to do in a certain section, then cutting himself off and saying, “What am I doing, it’s like I’m coaching Joe Montana.” What a great feeling!
One time my GFs friends’ BF invited me to his lobby for a game. I played with him and his friend for an hour or so but I guess they were in a discord so I couldn’t hear anything they were saying and I didn’t have a mic. It was fun and I thought I played pretty well compared to everyone else in the game. Then my GF’s friend texted her and ig her BF and friends were in awe with how good I was the entire time we were playing and were either following my lead or letting me handle certain areas of the map myself because they thought I was doing as well as the three of them combined. It was a good feeling lol.
Oh that reminds me of an online shooter game. I was the last one alive in my team, and the worst player. The other team had only one player alive, their best player.
Everyone of my teammates was shouting instructions at me. I was overwhelmed. I chose to do one obvious thing... and somehow I got into a face to face guns blazing firefight and fragged the other guy. It was unbelievable. That was my greatest moment online.
Ill never forget a moment playing Battlefield 2 on PC. I was playing two buddies in the same room as me. One was in a guild that ran our favorite server. Ill brag a bit here. This was probably the best I ever was at a video game. I think I was like 13 years old lol. Anyways, we are playing an infantry map and I get like 6 headshots in a row with a sniper rifle. Just crushing it. Next to me my buddy who was in the guild stops for a moment, clearly listening to someone on his headset, then responds with, "Uh actually he is sitting right next to me, he's clean." Apparently someone in the guild was wanting me to get checked for using hacks haha. I still think about that moment.
