We kayaked in bioluminescent waters and it was the most beautiful thing. It truly is like swimming in the stars.

Costa Rica works too, there’s a spot near Isla San Lucas

Yep, I found some on the coast near Samara as well! Pretty faint but visible at night.

We do this in the San Juans every summer. Magical each time!

I did this during a new moon in Mosquito Bay of Vieques. It was truly amazing

We did it two nights in a row on the new moon. One of the few things that brought back my sense of wonder in an instant.

I recommend it to anyone i meet that visits puerto rico. It’s a shame that most people visiting never make it out of san juan

Have a great time! Vieques is an amazing place. We stayed closer to isabel segunda as we found the northern areas were more locals and less tourists than esparanza. But both spots are really cool.

Highly recommend seeing mosquito pier, playa negra, and some of the many beautiful beaches on the island

Yeah, it always helps to let them know there's only like, 3 places on earth that have the natural bioluminescence. The other ones I believe are in south-east Asia.

Did this in mid-coast Maine a few years ago. As an added bonus there were fireflies along the shoreline, a meteor shower in the sky, and a distant thunderstorm lighting up the horizon. Magical.

South coast of Ireland, night kayaking with bioluminescence, jellyfish and various other wildlife.

Amazing
